(ANSA) - SASSARI, SEPTEMBER 24 - Accepting the request of the general prosecutor, the Court of Appeal of Sassari released Carles Puigdemont, arrested yesterday on an international arrest warrant for extradition.
The former president of Catalonia is free to move, he is not subject to any precautionary measures.
Puigdemont, however, will have to reappear in Sardinia on 4 October, the date of the first hearing scheduled to decide on the extradition request.
