Wuppertal - The import giant GEPA has launched a recall for a product from its extensive Fairtrade range.
These are chocolate chip cookies, and the company claims that their packaging may contain foreign objects.
Customers are warned about consumption and can have items that they have already purchased refunded.
GEPA recalls chocolate cookies because of foreign objects
As can be seen in a press release from GEPA, foreign bodies were discovered in a pack of “Organic Chocolate Cookies” (item number: 8911924).
It is possible that other packs could also be affected, but the warning relates overall only to the batch of the product with the best before date May 21, 2022.

The food importer, which has existed since 1975, also informs that the manufacturer of the product has been notified of the find and is currently looking for the causes.

Resellers are asked to contact GEPA and inform their customers about the recall.
If the biscuits have already found their way into the shopping cart, they can be returned closed or opened for a refund of the purchase price.
