(ANSA) - BEIJING, 25 SEPTEMBER - Huawei will "defend itself" from the accusations according to which it has violated the US sanctions against Iran, after the agreement with the Justice Department on the withdrawal of the charges against the head of finance, Meng Wanzhou.
"Huawei will continue to defend itself against accusations by the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York," reads a statement from the group as Meng travels to China.
In concluding the deal, "Meng assumed responsibility for her primary role in perpetrating a plan to defraud a global financial institution," noted interim prosecutor Nicole Boeckmann.
