In front of a restaurant in Mannheim, six people were shot injured on Saturday night.
They were taken to surrounding clinics, the prosecutor and police announced on Saturday.
According to the current state of the investigation, none of them are in danger of death.
Shortly before midnight, a dispute broke out between several people in front of the restaurant in the Waldhof district, as a result of which several shots were fired.
Six men with German citizenship between the ages of 35 and 45 were injured.
The act may be related to a rocker group.
This is currently the subject of further investigations, in which the Mannheim public prosecutor and an investigative group that was specially founded on Saturday are involved.
The possible reference to the rocker milieu results from the fact that during the act a motorcycle typical for this scene was standing in front of the bar, it was said.
After the fact, at least one stranger fled the scene in a dark car.
An immediately initiated manhunt was initially unsuccessful.
The background to the act is still unknown.
Whether one or more people fired the shots was initially unclear, as a police spokesman said.
