(ANSA) - MOGADISCIO, 25 SEPTEMBER - Eight people were killed in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, in an attack with a car bomb against a checkpoint not far from the presidential palace and claimed by the jihadists of the al-Shabaab group.
"Eight people, mostly civilians, are confirmed to have died and another seven were injured in the explosion of a car bomb," said Mucawiye Ahmed Mudey, the district commissioner of Hamar Jajab where the attack took place.
