Blondies with chocolate and pecans that you can't stop eating (Photo: Walla !, Dor Moshe)
The official name of these slices is Blondies - a cake provider, a cookie provider with a dense and chewy texture like brownies, but one that does not contain melted chocolate in the batter and has therefore been nicknamed "Blondie".
To my blondie dough I added ground pecans that enrich the taste and texture, and of course a nice amount of dark chocolate.
I like to slice the blondies into small cubes, because Markman is rich and slightly dense, and of course use quality dark chocolate.

Preparation
How to make pecan and dark chocolate blondies?
1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a 20 x 20 cm square pan with baking paper.
2 In a food processor, grind the pecans and flour together into a relatively fine powder (this is fine if it is not completely smooth).
Stir in the salt and baking soda.
3 In a mixer bowl with a guitar hook beat butter and sugar until a creamy and fluffy mixture is obtained.
Add the vanilla and yolk and process until incorporated into the mixture.
Add the egg and process to combine.
4 Add the flour mixture and process just until it is almost completely absorbed.
Add the dark chocolate and stir just until combined.
5 Transfer the batter to a pan, flatten it and sprinkle over the rest of the chocolate, the pecans we saved for garnish and if you want some more salt.
6 Bake the blondies for about 20-25 minutes, just until the edges are set but the center is still soft and vibrating.
Cool the blondies to room temperature and slice into squares (I cut into 25 small cubes).
