(ANSA) - BRESCIA, 25 SEPT - They spent the night in the same cell Silvia and Paola Zani, the two sisters aged 27 and 19 accused of the murder and concealment of the corpse of their mother Laura Ziliani and since yesterday detained in the Brescia women's prison of Verziano.
They entered the prison holding hands, then they were separated for a few hours before being placed in the same cell.
On the other hand, Mirto Milani, the oldest boyfriend, who had a hidden relationship with the younger, is in solitary confinement in Canton Mombello. All three closed in silence, as they remained silent when the carabinieri arrested them on Friday morning.
"Those three boys were too attached to money": this is what Laura Ziliani's mother, Marisa, told the investigators talking about her two grandchildren and Mirto Milani.
The woman also reported a dispute that Laura and Mirto had had about the cost of a renovation.
"My daughter was thrilled that he was interested in things that didn't concern him. Those three boys were too attached to money."
