"It was unbearable. Sometimes silence is a declaration of anguish, of the loss of friendships of more than three decades. A true friendship, one that allowed secrets, adventures and a profession that became a family. Truth, performances, trips, meals, long conversations in the wee hours of the night, mutual devotion "Parenting and all the heartache and happiness it brings with it. Achievements, rage, years of spending time together on the set and laughing until late at night, both as Carrie and Stanford and as Cally and Sarah Jessica."
"Willie, I miss everything about you. I keep thinking about our last moments together, reading the messages we exchanged in recent days and writing the conversations we had. Your absence is a crater that I will fill with the help of these memories."
Concluding the remarks, the actress dedicated to Gerson's only son: "I send love, sympathy and condolences to dear Nathan. You were the light in Willie's life and his greatest achievement was to be your father. May his memory be blessed."
