2021-09-28T14:50:03.511Z

Special protection measures will have to be put in place in companies. Teleworking and partial activity will sometimes remain possible.

This is an evolution made possible by the progress of vaccination coverage.

From Monday, September 27, vulnerable employees, identified as presenting the risk of developing a severe form of Covid-19 by the High Council for Public Health (HCSP), will be able to resume their professional activity at their workplace.

Protected since May 20, 2020 by the health protocol, these people could opt for teleworking or be placed in partial activity when the performance of their tasks was not possible remotely.

Priority vaccinated, they can now, in accordance with the advice of the HCSP, return to the site under certain conditions.

Reinforced protection

Companies are nevertheless required to comply with reinforced protection measures to allow this return.

Regarding the layout of the workstation, the provision of an individual office or the installation of devices limiting the risks (protective screens, staggered hours) are requested.

As far as possible, the equipment should not be shared with other employees, and otherwise disinfected.

The conditions of the journey home to work may also be adapted, in particular with regard to arrival and departure times.

Finally, the employer must be very vigilant in the application of barrier gestures and provide sufficient masks.

Medical certificate

If the majority of fragile employees must thus be able to return to a more normal professional life, exemptions will remain possible. A decree published on September 9 makes it possible to maintain the benefit of partial activity or telework at 100% for people justifying a "

particular risk situation

" and who "

could not find a sufficient response in the measures of protection implemented in the workplace

”, specifies the Ministry of Labor. The text lists several cases related to the profession such as the occupation of "a

post exposed to high viral densities

", or to the person himself such as a "

contraindication to vaccination

". A medical certificate will then be requested from the employee.
