Covid-19 in France: 14 new deaths and nearly 8,000 hospitalized patients

The number of patients infected with the new coronavirus, including in critical care, is stable. This Sunday, 7,994 patients are hospitalized for a Covid-19 infection. This is slightly more than the day before but much less than the 8,887 patients hospitalized a week ago. Of these patients, 1,577 are currently hospitalized in critical care, due to the severity of their symptoms, they were 1,571 on Saturday and 1,832 a week ago.

The intensive care units are gradually declining.

With 35 new entries in 24 hours, against 54 the day before.

14 new deaths in hospital are to be deplored in the past 24 hours.

Since the start of the epidemic, over 116,460 people have died from the infection.
