You don't have to spend huge sums of money for this, pretty flowering house plants against autumn blues are already available at a reasonable price and they are usually pretty easy to care for.

In the following we would like to introduce you to some beautiful houseplants that bloom in autumn and winter:

  • Cyclamen:

Cyclamen come in many colors, and they like bright locations without direct sun, by no means too warm.

In addition to the flowers, the beautiful leaves with light green or white patterns are particularly eye-catching.

The cyclamen likes it rather cool.

  • Flamingo

    flower

    :

The flamingo flower is also called Anthurium andreanum and is therefore related to the currently very popular Anthurium Crystallinum. Compared to the trend plant, the focus of the “normal” flamingo flower is on the colorful bracts, which, by the way, are not the flowers at all. The actual flower is the elongated, narrow structure (piston) in the middle of the bracts. Flamingo flowers score with perennial blooms all year round, but don't like full sun and are happy about higher humidity.

  • Flammendes Käthchen:

You either like this plant or you find it terrible.

The Kalanchoe has shiny leaves and small flowers in yellow, red, or orange.

In order for it to bloom, however, a period of rest is necessary.

It likes it light and rather cool, it should be a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius, then it blooms profusely.

  • Azalea:

Potted azaleas bloom in winter and come in several colors.

Waterlogging must be avoided at all costs, despite frequent watering.

Otherwise, like all indoor plants, the azalea does not like calcareous water.

  • Bromeliad:

The bromeliad is also part of the standard repertoire when it comes to flowering houseplants.

The flowers are persistent, decorative but not too intrusive.

Bromeliads can therefore also be easily integrated into more modern apartments.

By the way, they are also called pineapples.

  • Christ thorn: The Christ thorn is

more of a Christmas plant, and according to its name it also has small thorns.

It has subtle but pretty flowers, likes it sunny to partial shade, although warmer places tend to favor flowers.

  • Orchids

    :

Some orchids take a break in winter, while others are in full bloom.

Orchids are a little more demanding in terms of care, but then reward them again and again with beautiful flowers.
