"Celebrating for Change" exhibition at the MO Museum
The MO Museum, designed by architect Daniel Liebskind, is the latest architectural gem of Vilnius.
The award-winning building stands out for its unique interior and exterior design.
For example, the museum's main staircase has become an especially popular site for selfies for Instagram thanks to its design in a coil structure such as DNA.
This fall, the museum is hosting a photo exhibition called "Celebrate for Change," which deepens the concept of celebration and how it frees celebrating individuals from the usual norms of behavior and social roles.
The artistic photography is complemented by documentary materials on different sub-cultures: from the beautiful to youth movements.
If you are in Vilnius in the near future this is an exhibition that is a celebration in itself.

Christmas market in Vilnius (Vilna), Lithuania (Photo: ShutterStock, Kavalenkau)
Christmas markets
As in many cities around the world, the cities and towns in Lithuania are also decorated during the month of December in honor of Christmas.
One of the most recommended cities to soak up the magical holiday atmosphere is Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
Vilnius, whose old city streets are characterized by picturesque alleys and impressive architectural styles, is becoming particularly impressive with the addition of holiday decorations.
The city has two famous Christmas markets - the first and traditional is outside the town hall, and the second is no less impressive located in the Cathedral Square.
In both markets you can enjoy a multi-sensory atmosphere, taste traditional cuisine, purchase local art and sip spicy mulled wine.
Another Lithuanian city that excels in its invested Christmas markets is Kaunas, where a traditional ceremony of lighting the municipal Christmas tree takes place every year in the center of the Old City on 1.12.
