(ANSA) - BRDO, 05 OCT - Italy reaffirms its firm membership of NATO but the withdrawal from Afghanistan requires the EU to reflect on the future of international relations and European defense.
Prime Minister Mario Draghi said this during the working dinner of the EU summit in Slovenia, opening the discussion after the intervention of Ursula Von Der Leyen on energy issues and defense policy.
"We don't have time," Draghi told the European partners, asking the Commission to produce a document on the common perspectives of Europe on these issues.
