The Pandora Papers unveil the offshore riches of the national coach Roberto Mancini and the head of the Azzurri delegation at Euro 2020 Gianluca Vialli. This is what L'Espresso announces on its website, based on the data from the secret archive revealed by the international journalistic investigation of the Icij consortium, in which the weekly of the Gedi Group also participates exclusively for Italy.

'Mancini is listed in the documents as the shareholder of Bastian Asset Holdings, based in the tax haven of the British Virgin Islands. In the same papers - we still read in L'Espresso - Vialli is instead qualified as the owner of another company, Crewborn Holdings, also registered in the British Virgin Islands'.

'Numerous details emerge from the Pandora Papers on the activities of the two former players, already teammates in the 1991 Italian champion Sampdoria. It turns out - writes the weekly in its online edition - that the Italian coach in 2009 had reported to a trustee Italian that he intends to ask for a tax shield to regularize his position with the tax authorities'.

'According to documents consulted by L'Espresso, Mancini's Caribbean company owned an airplane.

The offshore screen in Vialli, a British citizen for many years, has instead served to manage a series of loans to Italian businesses'.
