(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 06 - "The EU must change its policy because the increase in" energy "prices is at least partly the fault of the European Commission. The new Green Deal regulation is an indirect tax for home and car owners , it is unacceptable ".

This was stated by the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, upon his arrival in Brdo, Slovenia, for the second day of work of the EU-Western Balkans summit.

"We have to change some regulations otherwise everyone will suffer", stressed Orban, adding that Hungary is protected under "a price cap system", but "the problem" remains "the new regulation of the Green Deal".
