(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 06 - Tina Turner joins the list of artists who have sold the rights to their artistic production.
The American singer, naturalized Swiss, has sold her music catalog to the German record house BMG.
It is about 60 years of career.
The economic terms of the agreement were not known, but according to the trade magazine Music Business Worldwide, 50 million dollars would be at stake.
Tina Turner, 81, who will be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame for the second time in late October, was the first black artist and the first female artist to land on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
Among his solo works are ten studio albums, two live, two colonnesonore and five compilations.
According to BMG, it has sold over 100 million records.
