Especially when it comes to restful sleep for the little ones, parents rightly pay attention to quality instead of quantity.

A current test from September 2021 shows that good children's mattresses do not necessarily have to be expensive.

Stiftung Warentest also found out that many of the models tested had

safety

defects.

Nevertheless, some of the children's mattresses also achieved the quality rating “good”.

14 children's

mattresses.

These questions are in the foreground here.
Cover
: Here it is checked whether the mattress cover can be washed in the washing machine.
Declaration and advertising
: This point examines the question of whether the advertising and description of the model correspond to the facts.
Health and the environment
: On the one hand, this concerns possible pollutants that could pollute the air in the room.
And on the other hand, it is about environmentally friendly disposal.

Four children's mattresses failed the test - the best could at most achieve the quality rating well.
