Lapo Elkann married Joana Lemos, 48, a former rally driver, winner of the Paris-Dakar in 1997. The wedding, which took place in Portugal in a very confidential manner, was attended - according to what we learn - by the John brothers and Ginevra and close friends.
Joana Lemos is vice president of the Laps Foundation, founded and chaired by Lapo Elkann: together they have carried out numerous charitable initiatives during Covid to help families in difficulty both in Italy and in Portugal.
Lapo, who just turned 44 yesterday, and Joana have been together for two years.
For the woman it is the second marriage: she has already been married for 18 years and by her first husband she had two children.
