(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 10 - Prince William, second in the line of succession to the British Crown, sees his uncle, Prince Andrew, as a "threat" to the reputation of the royal family and believes that he should never return to public life: writes the Sunday Times, citing an anonymous source close to the Duke of York.
Prince Charles, his brother Edward and his sister Anne also agree that Andrew should not return to represent the Crown in public. A decision taken on the origin of the pedophilia scandal that sees him called in cause by Virginia Giuffre Roberts, one of the victims of the late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
Giuffre, in fact, has initiated a legal action in New York against the prince, claiming that she was actually put 'at the disposal' of the Duke of York, when she was 17, on three separate occasions.
The incriminated meetings would have taken place in as many properties of the financier: in London, New York and in a residence of his in the Virgin Islands.
Andrea has always denied the accusations and is trying through his lawyers not to be directly involved in the affair.
