(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 11 - In August 2021 it is estimated that the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production will decrease by 0.2% compared to July.
Istat notes this, underlining that in the average for the quarter June-August the level of production grew by 1.1% compared to the previous three months.
Excluding the calendar effects, in August 2021 the production was unchanged compared to the previous year (the calendar working days were 22 compared to 21 in August 2020).
Compared to February 2020, the month before the start of the health emergency, the August index level is 1.5% higher, net of seasonal factors.
