Monster Pumpkin Crowned: This fruit weighs almost as much as a caravan

The world's largest pumpkin was recently crowned in Italy - but the competition never sleeps.

What you may not have known, however, is that the world's largest pumpkin was recently being chosen in Italy.

The fruit weighed an impressive 1,226 kilograms - and thus weighs about as much as an empty caravan.

Italian sets record for heaviest pumpkin

The proud owner of the pumpkin is the farmer Stefano Cutrupi.

On September 26th, he won the
