(ANSA) - TOKYO, OCTOBER 11 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the first session of the week in negative, in the wake of the contraction of equity indices on Wall Street, after the disappointing data from the US labor market, and awaiting further clarification in Japan on the fiscal maneuver outlined by the new administration of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
At the opening, the Nikkei lost 0.51% to 27,906.78, with a loss of 142 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen depreciated against the dollar at 112.20, and against the euro at 129.80.
