Urgent recall of frozen goods: Dangerous bacteria detected

Kassel - The company Öko Service GmbH informs about the recall * of a herbal product sold at Rewe *.

As the company reports, germs of the intestinal bacterium Escherichia Coli (STEC / VTEC) were detected in a sample of the frozen organic article.

We strongly advise against consuming the organic product.

A health risk could "not be ruled out with final certainty." Therefore, they reacted immediately, started a recall and took the article off the Rewe shelves.

Consumption can lead to diarrhea, nausea, and abdominal cramps.

Consumers who have consumed the product and suffer from the symptoms described are asked to consult a doctor immediately.

Recall: organic herbs can be returned to Rewe

As announced by the company, customers can return the organic item to the respective Rewe store without presenting the receipt.

The purchase price will still be reimbursed.

According to the manufacturer, other best-before dates and batches are not affected by the recall.
