(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 12 - A 75-year-old man killed his 70-year-old companion in Manduria, in the province of Taranto, hitting her in the throat with a cutter, and then attempted suicide, injuring himself in the arms and neck.
The attack, according to what has been learned, took place after a dispute.
The man was transported to the Giannuzzi hospital and is placed in custody.
The weapon was recovered and seized by the carabinieri.
