(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 12 - Titane is the film selected to represent France in the selection for the foreign Oscar.
Julia Ducournau's film, starring Vincent Lindon and AgatheRousselle, currently in theaters also in Italy, has already won the Palma d'oro. More than 80 nations are expected to enter this year's best international feature film at the 94th and night of the Academy Awards. As for Italy, tomorrow, Wednesday 13 October, the candidacies will have to reach ANICA. The Selection Committee will view the nominated films and meet for the nomination, which must be communicated to the Academy on Tuesday 1 November 2021.
The announcement of the nominations is scheduled for 8 February 2022 while the Academy Awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on March 27, 2022. (ANSA).
