Even the US Chamber, after the Senate, has given the green light to the agreement to raise the debt ceiling until 3 December and avoid default, adding 480 billion dollars.
Now only the signature of President Joe Biden is missing.
The measure passed with 219 yes from the dem, while 206 republicans voted for no.
Biden is expected to sign the measure this week, before October 18, when the US Treasury is no longer able to pay its debts.
Grand Old Party Senate leader Mitch McConnell has already made it known to the White House that he will not partner with the Dems on another debt ceiling increase.
