(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 14 - New murder with a political background in Afghanistan, after the killing on Tuesday of a civil society activist and several terrorist attacks in recent days.
Unidentified gunmen shot dead Ahad Khan, a former senator and member of the provincial council during the Ashraf Ghani government, deposed with the arrival of the Taliban today in the afternoon.
The man, reports Tolo News, was shot on his way home in the Dawlatyar district of the central province of Ghor, mainly inhabited by the Tajik and Hazara minorities.
The politician's nephew was also killed in the attack.
