Any disturbance during the minute of silence "will be sanctioned", he adds.

"Problems had already been reported last year", during a first tribute to the professor, recalled the minister.

And to add: "Even if these disturbances represented a very low percentage, they had been signaled and obviously sanctioned".

Already Thursday, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin called on the prefects to be “totally vigilant” during this tribute more particularly “in and around schools”.

This year, the tribute paid to the professor will also result in an hour in class which will give rise to an exchange around the memory of the professor.

The educational teams will be free "how they want to organize this exchange", had already specified the spokesman of the government Gabriel Attal.

Finally, a commemorative plaque will be unveiled on Saturday morning in the entrance to the Ministry of National Education.

"The Prime Minister as well as other members of the government will come to inaugurate this plaque in the ministry with the parents and the family of Samuel Paty", specified Jean-Michel Blanquer.

At the same time, a Samuel-Paty square will also be inaugurated on Saturday opposite the Sorbonne during a ceremony that the mayor of Paris wants simple and collected.
