Hape Kerkeling is coming back from his show break: From November 21st, the entertainer will be featured in a travel series on VOX.

In "Hape and the 7 Dwarf States", Kerkeling will travel to Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican.

The station group announced on Thursday.

The seven episodes should always be shown on Sundays at 7.10 p.m. on VOX.

The start is to go to Malta, where Kerkeling is supposed to meet, for example, the Malta-born opera singer Joseph Calleja.

“During the pandemic, my hunger for the stage and television suddenly increased again.

And after a seven-year break from TV, I had one or the other idea in my head that I wanted to realize, «says Kerkeling in a statement.

He has always wanted to travel to the seven dwarf states and find out how these countries manage to survive the times.

Another broadcast in December

Kerkeling took his 50th birthday in 2014 as an opportunity to largely withdraw from show business.

Until then, he was one of the most famous actors on German television and also invented a number of characters, including Hannilein, Horst Schlämmer and Uschi Blum.

In the spring, the RTL group announced that Kerkeling would return to the screen in several formats.

Another program with him will be broadcast on VOX in December: In “An Evening with Hape Kerkeling” the entertainer will read from his new book and sing two songs from his new album.
