Apple has confirmed its next online event, "Unleashed", set for 7pm on October 18th. Last month, the company unveiled the new iPhone 13 line, the new iPads and the Apple Watch Series 7. Given the products still awaiting a design and function update, they are currently candidates to make their virtual appearance from 'Apple Park of Cupertino, the MacBook Pro and the third generation AirPods. According to rumors of experts, the next family of laptops will be the first, high-end, to replace Intel chips with Apple's home processors, known as Silicon. The MacBook, once Apple's flagship product, remains one of the best performing objects in terms of sales, generating about 10% of the American giant's revenue in the 'devices' segment.
According to the 9to5mac website, future models will include a new design, a MagSafe magnetic charger and revamped displays in sizes, from 14 and 16 inches. The devices should also feature the HDMI port removed from the last generation but not the upper touch bar, which probably hasn't achieved such positive feedback over time. Apple last updated low-end MacBook Pros late last year, with the M1 processor, while the latest top-of-the-line notebooks date back to 2019. In addition to the new MacBooks, Apple is working on the successor to its AirPods. in the third generation, not to be confused with the AirPods Pro, which have a different shape of the stem, shorter. The AirPods 3 should instead feature the same iconic design, with the addition of technologies we already know, such as Spatial Audio, with dynamic head position detection, currently only available on AirPods Pro and Max headphones.
