After rainy and windy days, large parts of Germany can look forward to sunshine on weekends.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the low »Gerold« still causes storms and winds on the coasts and in the mountains on Friday, but thanks to the high »Philine«, the sun is increasingly coming out, especially in the south - if it is tough Fog clears.
In the north, however, the clouds can hold up even longer.
»The temperatures overall remain at the current level and usually climb to around 13 to 15 degrees during the day.
It gets cooler especially in the higher altitudes of the low mountain ranges, where mostly only single-digit maximum values are reached «, explained DWD meteorologist Felix Dietzsch.
In the low mountain ranges it is therefore colder than zero degrees.
Otherwise, temperatures often drop to just a few degrees above freezing point.
In northern Germany, however, the risk of frost is low.
The overall friendly weather will last until Monday - on Tuesday, according to the DWD, it will be more volatile again.
