Munich - Because children could be endangered when using it, Aldi Süd is recalling a product: As the discounter announced via an official product recall, customers should no longer use the Adventuridge brand trekking child carrier with immediate effect.

The supermarket chain is therefore asking that the child carrier be returned to one of the Aldi Süd branches.

The purchase price will be refunded.

Since May 3 of this year, the Adventuridge brand trekking child carrier has been sold in the fillies of the entire Aldi Süd area.

SA Sport-Import GmbH is recalling

the product for "reasons of precautionary consumer protection", Aldi Süd announced.

The manufacturer had warned the discounter that a plastic washer on the carrying structure of the stretcher could break and thus loosen the attachment of the shoulder straps.

Safe use for the children is no longer guaranteed.
