Covid: Iss; incidence drops to 29, slight increase Rt to 0.85

Monitoring, last week transmission index was 0.83 (ANSA) The weekly incidence of Covid cases at national level still decreases: 29 per 100,000 inhabitants (4/10/2021 - 10/10/2021) compared to 34 per 100,000 inhabitants (27/09/2021 - 3/10/2021) of the last monitoring. In the period 22 September - 5 October 2021, the mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was equal to 0.85 (range 0.82 - 0.87), below the epidemic threshold and slightly increased compared


The weekly incidence of Covid cases at national level still decreases: 29 per 100,000 inhabitants (4/10/2021 - 10/10/2021) compared to 34 per 100,000 inhabitants (27/09/2021 - 3/10/2021) of the last monitoring.

In the period 22 September - 5 October 2021, the mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was equal to 0.85 (range 0.82 - 0.87), below the epidemic threshold and slightly increased compared to the previous week when scored 0.83.


    The data are contained in the monitoring draft being examined by the control room. 

Three Regions (Marche, Molise and Valle d'Aosta) are classified this week at moderate risk, compared to the 4 Regions and Autonomous Provinces (PPAA) of last week (Basilicata, PA Trento, PA Bolzano and Valle d'Aosta).

The remaining 18 Regions and Autonomous Provinces are classified as low risk.

Furthermore, two Regions / PPAA report an alert of resilience linked to the territorial health services (PA Bolzano and Sardinia).
