In our country, 12 million people, or 1 in 5, are affected by disability, and for 80% of them, this is not
visible,

explains Sophie Cluzel, Secretary of State for People with Disabilities

“Through 3 films and 10 photographed portraits, we decided to focus the awareness campaign on human beings. We want to tell our fellow citizens that they cannot dwell on the handicap but that we must go and find the person. One way to challenge all French people to encourage them to be the actors of the change of outlook on disability, ”she
adds.
Big financial effort
Emmanuel Macron had acted, in February 2020, the creation of this major national awareness campaign, but the health crisis has postponed its launch.
