(ANSA) - LONDON, OCTOBER 15 - A deputy from the Tory majority who supports the British government of Boris Johnson, the 69-year-old David Amess, was attacked today by an unknown and repeatedly stabbed in Essex, south of England.


   The media reported it, stating that Amess was attacked inside a Methodist church, during a meeting with his electors in his college.

Confidentiality for now on the suecondizioni, while investigating the motive for the attack.

In 2016, Labor MP Jo Cox was killed in a similar attack by a right-wing extremist.
