Today, 2146 male and female students from Syrian (public and private) and non-Syrian universities applied for the first session of the Unified Architecture Exam (October 2021).
The Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the candidates for the exam were distributed among six exam centers in the universities (Damascus, Aleppo, Tishreen, Al-Baath, Hama and Tartous), noting that today’s session included two written and practical exams assigned to them with 125 marks.
The students are scheduled to sit for the second session of the exam on Saturday 23/10/2021, which includes a practical exam in the field of architectural design for a period of four hours, with 75 marks allotted to it.
All students of the faculties of architecture in public and private universities who were unable to apply for the previous exam session, students who failed it, students who have only 12 credit hours or 4 courses left for the academic year 2020-2021 who wish to graduate for 2021, as well as university students are subject to the exam. Non-Syrians in order to equalize their certificates and practice the profession.
The success of the student from public and private universities and obtaining a mark of 50 percent is a condition for graduation, and the student benefits from examination aid by only two marks, and the student’s success and obtaining a mark of 60 percent is a condition for applying for the differentiation of graduate studies.
