Cervino SpA makes it known that the anti-Covid regulations, that is possession of the Green pass, use of the mask on the lifts, interpersonal distancing and online purchase of the ski pass are guaranteed by the controls organized "in a punctual and massive manner" by the staff of the lifts with the support also of the police. local, carabinieri and financial police.
In this first phase it is possible to ski on the Swiss side thanks to the connection with Zermatt and on the Plateau Rosa, for a total of about 15 kilometers of slopes out of a total of 340 which the area can count.
At 10.15 today, two hours after the opening, there were 620 ski passes issued: not only skiers, but also some mountaineers willing to tackle the climb on Breithorn.
In the meantime, artificial snow-making operations are proceeding on the Italian side and next week it will be decided when to open.
The area controlled by Cervino SpA, which also includes Valtournenche, Chamois and Torgnon (whose openings will take place in the next few weeks) will remain open until May 1, 2022. (ANSA).
