To transform the scars that the pandemic has left in each of us into beauty and start again together.
This is the message that comes from the CICATRICI collective project in Milan.
The boys of the Bullone, young people suffering from serious and chronic pathologies, together with the artist Giuditta Gilli Ravalli, have decided to bring together - all on the same level - people, companies and organizations of the third sector, in a dialogue that would give back to the community
a
way to look at ourselves with new eyes
, welcome one's own scar and that of others and transform these signs into beauty.
The CICATRICI project which, from the success of the first edition of 2018, is transformed and becomes a choral path that gives the city six human-sized statues.
Michelangelo's David, the Venus de Milo and 3D printing, once again protagonists, but with a new look.
The first appointment of this collective journey is from 16 to 23 October 2021.
During this period five squares of the urban area: Piazza del Carmine, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, Piazza Tre Torri, Piazza XXV Aprile, Largo Gemelli, will welcome the works, protected by a veil, to establish a dialogue, animated by the boys of the Bullone, with the territory.
CICATRICI Milano is a collective exhibition.
For this reason Il Bullone invites the public to participate by drawing their own scar and to bring the sketches on display.
From 26 to 31 October, the works will reunite in the Atrium of the Milan Triennale, where they will finally be unveiled.
The exhibition week will be animated every day by an event created in collaboration with the project partners.
All information and the entire program of the exhibition, constantly updated, will be available on the project website: www.cicatricimilano.com
