Trick to get a whole line on the plane just for yourself (@cheapholidayexpert)

One of the most exciting things about flying is finding out that the seat next to you is available.

Being able to sit on the seat like this and feel like you are in first class is a dream that unfortunately comes true too rarely.

Travel expert and webmaster of cheapholidayexpert.com, Chelsea Dickenson, reveals an ingenious and cunning method that will get you a whole line on the plane just for yourself - as long as you travel as a couple.

In a ticketing video that garnered close to 300,000 views, the 31-year-old Chelsea explains that the trick is to book two seats in the window and aisle and leave the middle seat free.

Her theory is that passengers are less likely to reserve a seat between two strangers and therefore the middle seat will probably remain empty.

Chelsea claim you have nothing to lose, because even if at the end someone sits between you, you can just offer them to sit by the window or the aisle and he will surely be happy to swap with you and let you sit together.

Chelsea added that in order to improve your chances of success, always choose row number 13 as many believe it is an unlucky number and give up seat armor on that row.

To demonstrate to you that the method really works, Chelsea, a London resident, boarded a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Corfu with her boyfriend, James - and documented the two sitting in row 13 with an empty seat between them and waiting impatiently for all passengers to board, hopefully That no one will surprise and settle between them.

When the flight attendants announce the end of the boarding phase, Chelsea and James respond with excitement as the seat between them remains vacant.

Chelsea later told MailOnline Travel: "Keeping the whole line to yourself is just the extra convenience we need - in fact it's exactly the conditions you would get if you were flying first class British Airways in Europe, so it's a great way to get the most out of your money." .

She added: "What's more, in Corona's times, it feels like a safer travel experience when you have more room for yourself."

When asked what her favorite seat on the plane is, she replied, "I wish I could say I like sitting by the window, but I have to go to the bathroom too many times on a flight. That's why I always take a seat in the aisle."

And what about those who travel alone?

She advises him to put a reminder of the check-in time to ensure he gets himself the seat he wants before the flight fills up.

In addition, she said that she had heard of passengers flying alone who had actually booked the middle seat in an empty row - and thus managed to reserve the entire row for themselves.
