Marco Papasidero wins the Italian Super Welter belt (the title was vacant) by beating Mirko Di Carlantonio in Rome.
Unanimous the verdict of the judges (96-94; 96-94; 97-93), which decreed the victory of Papasidero who thus became the Italian champion.
The two had already met on 23 July in Maccarese, again for the Italian title, and the match ended in a draw: 95-95;
95-94, 94-95.
The evening, organized by ASD Bellusci Boxing Promotion, saw other meetings, starting with the eight-round match played between the super welterweights Francesco Sarchioto and Valerio Mazzulla, which ended with Sarchioto's victory in the fourth round for KOTc (due to injury ).
The other super welterweight match saw Mirko Marchetti win, on points, over Spaniard Lester Cantillano.
In the Middleweight Andrea Angelocore beat Luigi Mantegna on points, while Giovanni Sarchioto overtook the Argentine Angel Mario Castillo on points.
In heavyweight Paolo Alfonso Damiani got the better of Ricky Gamble (Aus).
