While the number of daily deaths due to Covid-19 continues to decline, the hospitalization curve is rising very slightly.

In France as elsewhere in the world, the Covid-19 epidemic is declining.

But the situation remains extremely fragile: it only took two outbreaks of contamination in schools for Lozère to switch back to the wrong side, and reimpose the mask at school from tomorrow.

In the hospital, the hospitalization rate increases slightly, but remains low.

According to the latest report from Public Health France, 6,448 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized in the country this Sunday, against 6,437 on Saturday and 6,737 last Sunday.

Of these patients, 71 were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, the proportion of patients suffering from severe forms falls a little more each day: with 18 new entries in the critical care services, 1,052 people are taken care of this Sunday in these units reserved for the most severe cases.

They were 1,076 the day before, 1,132 seven days ago.

The number of daily hospitalizations and that of daily critical care admissions of patients diagnosed with # Covid19 in France have stabilized (around 185 and 45, respectively), after having fallen sharply since the end of August.

Since the start of the epidemic, 117,250 people have died in France.
