A week dominated by protests in Italy against the Green pass, due to the introduction of the obligation to possess certification in the workplace. Protests began on SATURDAY 9 October with the violent demonstration in Rome, where groups of Forza Nuova were also present: the palaces of power were besieged and clashes with the police, the CGIL headquarters devastated (where Prime Minister Draghi went on MONDAY in a sign of solidarity). 12 arrests, 38 officers injured. The protest on FRIDAY 15 at the Circus Maximus was quite different, with some women offering roses to the agents. THURSDAY 14 October was also the day of farewell to the skies of Alitalia, the Italian national airline founded in 1946: from its ashes Ita was born and took over the brand. IS WEDNESDAY'Captain Kirk, played by actor William Shatner in the Star Trek series, flew into space and was the oldest (90 years old) to cross the boundaries of the atmosphere aboard a Blue Origin flight.
