"The Voice All Stars": why the final will not be live

They are six to claim victory. MB14, Anne Sila and Manon in Florent Pagny's team, Amalya for Jenifer, Terence for Mika and Louis Delort, saved at the last minute to represent Patrick Fiori. All will try to win the final of "The Voice All Stars" this Saturday evening on TF 1. But surprise, unlike the semi-final, offered with a slight delay, the show will not be live this time. In any case, not in its entirety. Because while the last six talents of this special edition will compete in front of the public, Mika will be in concert at the Philharmonie de Paris. One of the two dates announced by the artist several months ago.

"Consequently, the final will be partly recorded", we are told.

The evening's performances will therefore be boxed on Friday evening in the presence of Mika.

"In the conditions of the direct", specifies the One.

Then, at the end of this first part, Nikos Aliagas will take his place, live, on the new set of “The Voice”… but without Terence's coach.

“He will be on the duplex from his dressing room at the Philharmonie,” the channel specifies.

But he will be able to interact with the other coaches and with the talents.

The public will vote well live

"Nikos will obviously explain to viewers why Mika is absent during the return to live", we also swear on the broadcaster side. A small change which will not however modify the mechanics. Only the public will be responsible for electing the winner of this “All Stars” edition. Despite the registration of all services, votes will be open from the start of the program. The result will be known at the end of the evening and live.

This is not the first time that "The Voice" has to do without one of its coaches on its direct.

In the spring of 2020, stuck in Quebec following the closure of the borders, Lara Fabian had to ensure her role of remote coach, present only on a giant screen.

Rebelote in the fall, for the finale of "The Voice Kids" where, suffering, Jenifer had also had to be content with a video appearance.
