The former Covid Emergency Commissioner,
Domenico Arcuri
, was heard by prosecutors Varone and Tucci of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, in relation to the well-known investigation into the masks for the cases of abuse of office and embezzlement. This is what the press office of the former Commissioner communicates, according to which "it was thus possible a comparison and clarification that had been hoped for for a long time with the judicial authority, with respect to which since the origin of the investigation Arcuri has always had a collaborative attitude, in order to definitively shed light on what happened ".
Arcuri, questioned on Saturday, is under investigation for abuse of office and embezzlement as part of the investigation involving, among others, entrepreneurs Mario Benotti, Andrea Vincenzo Tommasi and Edisson Jorge San Andres Solis.
The former head of the commissioner was also registered for the crime of corruption, a case in point for which the Capitoline prosecutors, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Paolo Ielo, requested the filing.
