The Head of State Sergio Mattarella has just arrived at the Palazzo della Sapienza in Pisa, the recently renovated historic seat of the University, the first stop on his visit to the city. In front of Palazzo Matturella he greeted the Tuscan governor Eugenio Giani, the mayor of Pisa Michele Conti, the president of the Pisan Province Massimiliano Angori who were waiting for him outside the Sapienza.
The President of the Republic is then expected, at 11, at the Palacus for the inauguration of the academic year 2021/2022 of the University of Pisa, the 678th anniversary of its foundation, where among the interventions there will also be that of the Minister of University and research, Maria Cristina Messa, as well as the rector Paolo Mancarella.
Mattarella's visit to Pisa will close at Villa del Gombo, in the former presidential estate of San Rossore, for the initiative promoted for the 10 years of Giovanisì, a project of the Tuscany Region for the autonomy of young benefited in over 370 thousand.
