(ANSA) - PISA, 18 OCT - This morning visit of the Head of State Sergio Mattarella in Pisa. The first stop is the Palazzo della Sapienza, the recently renovated historic seat of the University. At 11 then the President of the Republic went to the Palacus for the inauguration of the 2021/2022 academic year of the University of Pisa, the 678th anniversary of its foundation, where among the interventions were that of the Minister of the University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa and the rector Paolo Mancarella.
Mattarella's visit to Pisa ends at the Villa del Gombo, in the former presidential estate of San Rossore, for the initiative promoted for the 10th anniversary of Giovanisì, a project of the Tuscan Region for the autonomy of young people from which they have benefited overall from 2011 370 thousand.
In Pisa Mattarella had previously participated in the inauguration of the academic year of the Scuola Normale, in 2015, and of the Sant'Anna in 2017. (ANSA).
