The COVID-19 pandemic, as well as antimicrobial resistance have highlighted the close relationship between human health, animal health and the environment and the negative impact on society as a whole if the balance of these three components is not properly managed.


    During an event organized by The European House - Ambrosetti with the contribution of Pfizer and bioMérieux, entitled "Planetary and Amr. Towards a new strategy to face global health challenges" in live streaming on Tuesday 19 at 9.30, the new approach of Planetary Health will be discussed, therefore considering the interactions between human, animal and environmental ecosystems to provide a new approach that strengthens the concept of One Health and which represents the only viable way to effectively combat AMR (the antimicrobial resistance) and possible future pandemics.
