(ANSA) - TOKYO, 18 OCT - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins the first session of the week under the banner of caution, despite the progress of US stock indices, pending data from China, with GDP growth in the third quarter, and retail sales in September.
The reference index Nikkei opens at 29,078.58 (+ 0.03%).
On the currency front, the yen continues to weaken against the dollar, to a value of 114.30, and against the euro to 132.50.
