(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 18 - "Discover" is the title of Zucchero's new record project "Sugar" Fornaciari, out on November 19: the first cover album of the artist's career, which for the occasion he stripped and covered in his iconic style of songs from the Italian and international music scene. To anticipate the release of the album will be the single "Follow you follow me", an engaging reinterpretation of one of the first great worldwide hits of Genesis, on radio from Friday 22 October.
"Discover" unites the two musical souls of Zucchero: the best Italian melodic tradition and the deepest African American roots. Also important are the collaborations with Bono in "Canta la Vita" (Italian version with the text signed by Zucchero of Bono's song "Let your love be known"), with Elisa in "Luce (Tramonti a Nord Est)", song of 2001 written together to the artist, and with Mahmood in "Natural Blues", Moby's version of the song "Trouble So hard" by Vera Hall. Intense and exciting is the song "I saw Nina fly", in which Zuccheros chooses to virtually duet with Fabrizio De André.
The standard version of the album, consisting of 13 tracks, will be released in cd, double lp and digital format.
Exclusively for Amazonci there will also be an autographed version of the CD and an autographed version of the double black LP.
A blue version of the double LP will be available exclusively for Disco Laziale.
A box version of the project will also be published, on sale exclusively on the UniversalMusic website and only in physical format, containing 1 cd, with the 13 tracks of the standard version + 5 bonus tracks, 1 double white Lp and 1 special 10 "blue vinyl. containing the 5 bonus tracks. (ANSA).
