(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 19 - India today counted 13,050 new cases of Covid 19 recorded in the last 24 hours, the lowest figure in 231 days: the Delhi Ministry of Health announced in a statement.
The total number of active positives is also the lowest since March 2020: 183,118.
The national vaccination campaign is continuing at a rapid pace, and has almost reached the billion doses administered, 986 million 700 thousand.
However, 70 percent of Indians have had only the first dose so far (ANSA).
